High Plains Spinner and Weavers (Located in Northeastern Colorado) are a group of fiber enthusiasts which celebrated their 13th year anniversary in March of 2016. We welcome anyone who is interested in the production of fibers and/or using fiber for spinning, weaving, or needlework.
Our members consist of men and women with a wide variety of talents and interests. Our goal is to encourage and teach the fiber arts of spinning, weaving, and needle work. In addition, any member of the guild can rent equipment and use out library to further their knowledge of the fiber arts.
We meet regularly on the third Saturday of each month at 1:00 P.M. On odd number months we meet in the second floor of the East Morgan County Library at 500 Clayton Street in Brush, Colorado. On even numbered months we meet at "Two Barns" at 46341 County Road 41, Yuma, Colorado.
Directions to "Two Barns" located half way between Otis and Yuma. Stay on the highway coming east out of Otis to Road YY. Turn left (North) and go 1 mile to Road 41. Turn right (East) and "Two Barns" is the first place you see on the North side of the road.
Our dues are $25 per year or $2 per meeting attended.
